Rekira 2020 Revealed!

Here's what I've been working on this past Summer! Rekira, my own original kaiju, has never looked better. :)

Created in Blender, and the maps created with FireAlpaca. Having trained myself to use Blender since early this year (since the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic hit), even I couldn't believe how ergonomic Blender is, compared to my old 3DSMax, which looks clunky by comparison! (To render something with hair, for example, took 2 minutes, compared to 1 hour on 3DSMax!) Having seen great animation work with Blender, I'm very taken aback.

It was almost difficult to find the right kind of drawing for the new decade/year, so ultimately went for something minimalist, with about the most beautiful Rekira sketch I've done yet! Done on tablet in FireAlpaca.
